Chasten Gold's Food Assistance Resource Center connects Californians with trusted food banks, meal programs, nutrition education, emergency food assistance, and community resources that help reduce food insecurity. Whether you're experiencing a temporary hardship or looking for ongoing support, we're committed to helping you find the resources needed to put healthy meals on the table.
Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services is the largest hunger-relief organization serving Sacramento County. Through a network of more than 100 partner agencies, the organization provides food distributions, senior nutrition programs, CalFresh application assistance, diaper assistance, and additional family support services. Their mission extends beyond emergency food by helping families achieve long-term self-sufficiency through education and community resources.
River City Food Bank has served Sacramento residents for decades by providing free, nutritious groceries in a welcoming and respectful environment. The organization operates multiple food distribution sites throughout Sacramento County and believes everyone deserves access to healthy food without barriers or judgment.
